Setting up your own Panel of Three Physicians

  |   News   |   No comment

Recently a client asked us to help them set up a workers’ compensation Panel of Three Physicians for an employee that worked remotely in another city too far away for them to reasonably access medical providers already set up in their existing Panel of Three Physicians.  Often times insurance carriers can assist with this process, but not always.  We were able to provide this client a vetted list of medical providers in the other city thanks to tools we have access to with our various workers’ compensation providers.

There are, however, free online tools that business managers can leverage to seek out and choose medical providers on their own when setting up a Panel of Three Physicians.  In fact, there are likely several.  A good one that we happened upon recently is www.healthgrades.com.  On this site one can search for vetted doctors, dentists, hospitals, etc. in localized geographic regions.
